1929 Rookwood Pottery Turquoise Matte Glaze Art Deco Bowl Shape 2133

Beatiful vintage Rookwood Pottery art pottery bowl featuring rich turqoise-blue matte glaze with darker green and charcoal shading. The molded geometric design gives the piece a wonderful Arts & Crafts to early Art Deco appearance.

The underside bears Rookwood's impressed RP flame mark, the Roman numeral date code XX!X for 1929, and shape number 2133. This is an unsigned production piece from Rookwood Pottery of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The bowl comes with it's original appraisal paperwork from antiques appraiser Dr. Lori, known for her appearances on the Discovery Channel series "Auction Kings". The handwritten appraisal is dated August 30, 2012, and assigns the bowl a value of $300. The original appraisal paperwork will be included with the purchase.

Measurements:
Approximately 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface and base wear. Please review all photographs closely for the exact condition and glaze details. No repairs noted.
