1922 Rookwood Pottery Vase #2406 Pink Green Matte Arts & Crafts Antique

Beautiful antique Rookwood Pottery production Vase dating to 1922, marked with the Rookwood RP flame mark, XX!! date code and shape #2406.

The vase has a gorgeous matte dusty rose/Pink glaze transitioning to soft gray-green at the shoulder and rim, with molded and incised stylized decoration around the upper body. Rookwood is particularly known for the type of rose matte glaze with gray-to-green over spray; shape 2406 is specifically documented among examples using this treatment.

A striking example of early American art pottery with strong Arts & Crafts influence. The subtle color transition and raised design show beautifully in person and make this a wonderful display piece, for a Rookwood or American art pottery collection.

Size - 8 inches tall, with a 2 inches narrowed top rim diameter.
